The October 2012 Tip of the Month got some immediate and interesting feedback. When I wrote that Tip I wondered if I was going too far. After all, changing up the team is a really big step with many significant ramifications. Based on the feedback, I didn't go too far at all. I heard from several readers about situations where they successfully used this tactic to improve their position.

One reader even brought up a scenario I neglected to mention - using this tactic in the negotiation stage. Specifically, they were in a situation where things were stalled and a new team came in and stirred things up and got things moving in the right direction. What a great idea!
