This week marked our second annual IMPAX Client Executive Forum, held in Minneapolis, MN. This is a group of Sales and Sales Operations executives who come together for a day and a half to share ideas and network with like-minded people. The expectations of the group were to:

  • Learn more ways to internalize the IMPAX Process into our organizations
  • Strengthen our ability to coach and lead others on the process (and in general)
  • Identify ways to help our teams embrace the process

On day 1, we had 3 great client presentations:

  • Tony Ennis, Director of Sales and Marketing for Jostens College Division, presented on "Strategies for Internalizing the IMPAX Process"
  • Sara Sampson, Vice president of Sales for RTI, and Peter Fruehling, Manager of Major Accounts at Jostens College Division, presented on their mastery and certification efforts.

One quote that really stands out was this, "You can learn and understand the IMPAX Process in an hour, but you can spend a career mastering it", meaning that the process is easy to understand and makes sense, but there are a lot of levels and opportunities for further development. Sounds about right to me!
