I may have written about this quote before, but it is as applicable now as it has ever been.

"80% of life is just showing up" - Woody Allen

This quote is so true. In order to be successful in whatever we do, we need to show up. In terms of the IMPAX Process, that might mean: picking up the phone to schedule a research meeting; requesting a presentation meeting of the decision maker; or insisting that our team get together to rehearse a presentation. People that master the IMPAX Process are the ones that take a chance to learn and try something new, and it pays off for them.

So many people don't show up, and those that do have an advantage. This doesn't mean we can just skate by. That's what the remaining 20% refers to.
