Given this tough winter so many of us are dealing with, I was reminded of a good sales joke:

There was a bad snow storm and many major freeways were closed. People were forced to stay at motels and wait out the storm. A group of salespeople found themselves in the lobby talking and waiting for things to get better so they could get out on the road and make their calls. As one newcomer walked into the lobby and was asked, "How are the roads out there? Can we get out and make calls?"  The guy answered, "That depends. Are you on salary or commission?"
